A new streamlined definition of the basic covered sports and Hazardous Sports rider provides a complete list of exactly what is covered by both the base policy and the optional rider. The newly defined rider will reduce the frequency of questions and concerns associated with hazardous sports and what the policy covers. If the applicant is participating in a hazardous sport or activity as indicated on the Hazardous Sports list, they simply include the rider. There is now no need to submit inquiries for underwriting to see which sports are covered and which are not.
